The Aluminum Alloys Service Owner is the technical and managerial authority for aluminum heat-treatment operations. This role requires deep expertise in aerospace heat-treatment specifications (AMS2770, AMS2771, AMS2772, AMS2750), quality systems, pyrometry, testing, documentation, personnel qualification, and compliance management. Beyond technical knowledge, the Owner is responsible for leadership, oversight, risk evaluation, and ensuring the organization consistently produces conforming aerospace products The Owner Level is the highest competency level within the PRI Qualification Aluminum Alloys Heat Treat program. An Owner is responsible not only for understanding and performing aluminum heat treatment processes, but also for managing personnel, approving processes, evaluating results, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Owners must possess extensive technical knowledge, proven industry experience, leadership capability, and accountability for overall process performance.
